So, like any of us who have season tickets, I got an email this week from a member services person with the Timbers telling me that sometime in October and that "we will have many additional options open up (relocations, add on lottery and transfers)". I've had 4 season tickets for maybe 10 years, with the first 8 years or so being in the TA end. A couple of years ago I decided I wanted to sit in reserved seats so was able to get 4 seats in 209. They're pretty high up but they're fine.
Now, the dilemma. I'm still a big Timbers fan as are my family and friends. Attendance is obviously down this year, presumably due to COVID and how bad the team was for the first 2/3 of the season. At times, when I haven't been able to go I haven't been able to sell my tickets, even below face value. I've seen plenty of seats on Seat Geek going for less than I pay for my seats. My 4 seats cost over $2000 per season.
I still love the Timbers and do want to go to games next year. I just don't know if I want to commit to 4 season tickets again. Any thoughts
